AI gives you superpowers! See how you can create a little game in two minutes.
AI gives us superpowers—but only if we pick them up and use them.
What does that mean? It means reconsidering what we think we’re capable of. With this geeky friend, an AI that knows almost everything and is always happy to help, our skillset is now bigger than ever.
I see professionals, accountants, bookkeepers, optometrists, lawyers, doing things they never thought they could, like:
Developing complex models
Using data analytics
Designing graphics
Even writing code
A few months ago, I attended a talk by a memory athlete—someone who can memorise entire phone books and recall them instantly.
In that session, he taught a simple technique to memorise 10 shopping list items and recall them later. It worked.
He explained: “It’s not magic—if you practice, you’ll get better.”
So, I decided to practice daily.
I looked for an app that would:
Show me a list of 10 random items
Then ask me to recall them in random order
Score me at the end
I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted.
So what did I do?
I went to ChatGPT.
Building an App—Without Being a Coder
I asked ChatGPT:
"Make me a memory training app. It will show a list of 10 random items for me to memorise. When I’m ready, it will show the numbers in random order, and I will have to type in what each number was. At the end, it will give me a score out of ten."
AI wrote the code in seconds. You can see it live in the video here above.
I ran it. It worked. I built an app.
Then realised I needed a “start again” button and that I want the buttons to be purple.
I said: "Add a button to restart and make the buttons purple."
AI updated the code instantly.
I hit preview—done.
Now I can use it daily inside ChatGPT.
I could even ask it how to:
Share it on the web
Deploy it on my phone
Turn it into something bigger
Or even, explain how the code works, so I can learn
What This Means for You
I’m not suggesting everyone should become a coder.
Most of the time, we can find an app to do what we need.
But here’s the real shift: AI lets us rethink what we believe we can and can’t do.
Ask yourself:
Can AI help me do that?
Is this something I can now do myself?
Are there tasks I’m outsourcing that I can bring in-house?
The possibilities are endless. AI gives us superpowers—we just have to use them.
What will you try next?
