Bliss: The AI That Listens, Speaks, and Thinks At My Pace
One of the most powerful (and my top most favourite) capability of AI - is Advanced Voice Mode.
It means that I can have real conversations, at my pace, on my terms, on any topic, any time, day and night.
It's a very different experience from the rigid, inflexible voice assistants that we had before. Where we had to wait for them to finish talking, even if they go on a tangent we are not interested in.
With Advanced Voice Mode, you can have seamless, back-and-forth discussions. No more awkward pauses, no more robotic delays, no more interruptions when we need a moment to think. Just a smooth, natural conversation where you can interrupt, change topics, and adjust the speaking speed in real-time.
Why This Feature Stands Out
This is not just another voice assistant—it’s a real-time AI conversation partner that adapts to you.
Here’s what makes it so powerful:
No More Start-Stop Delays – Instead of waiting for the AI to finish speaking before you can respond, you can interrupt at any time to steer the conversation in the direction you want.
Adjust the Speaking Speed – If the AI is speaking too slowly, you can simply ask it to speak 20% faster to match your thinking pace.
Seamless Topic Shifts – If the conversation goes off track, you can redirect it instantly without having to start over.
Multilingual Capabilities – You can switch between languages mid-conversation, making it a powerful tool for language practice and cross-cultural discussions.
And finally, all your conversations are stored as chats in your ChatGPT account. So you can pick them up from your computer and continue the conversation in text. For example: what are all the things I said I should come back to? or: now write me a brief on this topic, or outline the manual we were discussing.
How Savvy People Learn Today
Have you heard about the AI that can create podcast episodes for you on any topic in minutes?
I’ve been using it, and I love it! It helps me get on top of complex concepts from multiple documents—while I’m walking, driving, or cooking. Now, I want you to experience the magic too.
How It Works
Getting started is simple, free, and takes just a few minutes:
Step 1 – Visit NotebookLM.Google and sign in with your Google account.
Step 2 – Upload your sources—PDFs, URLs, or even paste notes from various documents.
Step 3 – Click Audio Overview. The AI analyses the content, generates a summary, and creates a podcast-style conversation discussing your documents.
Step 4 – Hit Play and let the AI hosts walk you through the insights, key takeaways, and expert opinions.
This means no more skimming through endless documents or feeling buried under research. Instead, you can listen, learn, and engage with the content in real time.
Deep Research
Do you ever need to study a topic in depth but don’t know all the angles to cover upfront?
AI can help.
A new concept called deep research is now available in AI tools. Unlike regular searches, deep research works as an agent—it searches the web, analyses the information, and autonomously decides what else to explore to provide a comprehensive answer.
Imagine giving an AI a research task. It not only finds relevant articles but also thinks, “What else do I need to know? Should I dig deeper into this aspect? Do I need real-world examples?” The AI then continues researching until it delivers a well-structured, in-depth response.
The Future is AI Inside Your Office Suite
How good would it be if ChatGPT lived inside your workspace? If you didn’t need to switch tabs, copy and paste between apps, or manually search for information in files?
This future is coming, and is coming fast!
Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini are bringing AI into the environments where we work every day. Whether you're a Microsoft 365 user or live in Google’s ecosystem, AI is now embedded inside your emails, documents, spreadsheets, and calendars.
But how well do these AI tools actually work? And should you invest in a licence for them?
AI Gets it Wrong!
Have you seen the headline? "AI chatbots distort and mislead when asked about current affairs."
This article shows that while summarising news, AI got 20% of the facts and quotes wrong. It made things up.
It’s true—AI gets things wrong. But here’s the other side of the story: it also gets 80% of things right.
That’s a powerful statistic when you think about it. Imagine having a tool that does 80% of the heavy lifting for you. All you need to do is verify the remaining 20%.
The real question is: Do we let AI’s 20% imperfection hold us back, or do we embrace the 80% accuracy to become faster and more efficient?
Have a look at this video showing the article I am referring to.
AI gives you superpowers! See how you can create a little game in two minutes.
AI gives us superpowers—but only if we pick them up and use them
What does that mean? It means reconsidering what we think we’re capable of. With this geeky friend, an AI that knows almost everything and is always happy to help, our skillset is now bigger than ever.
I see professionals, accountants, bookkeepers, optometrists, lawyers, doing things they never thought they could, like:
Developing complex models
Using data analytics
Designing graphics
Even writing code
A few months ago, I attended a talk by a memory athlete—someone who can memorise entire phone books and recall them instantly.
In that session, he taught a simple technique to memorise 10 shopping list items and recall them later. It worked.
He explained: “It’s not magic—if you practice, you’ll get better.”
So, I decided to practice daily.
I looked for an app that would:
Show me a list of 10 random items
Then ask me to recall them in random order
Score me at the end
I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted.
So what did I do?
I went to ChatGPT.
What Are AI Agents and How you Can Have Your Own Today?
Everyone is talking about AI agents, but what are they?
Are they those heartless people in black from the Matrix movie?
They're no😊
AI agents are AI apps that have agency to do things on their own.
So far, we used generative AI through chatbots.
We had text or voice or even video, but we just had conversations with them.
They talked to us.
AI agents can actually do things for us.
AI agents have a level of agency and a level of autonomy.
Can AI replace my assistant?
I noticed a pattern in the early conversations in my executive briefings and one-on-one technology coaching. Conversations often starts like this:
"Christine, your assistant—she helped organise this session. Is she human or AI?"
She’s totally human.
"Really? Haven't you replaced her with AI already?"
No. I have not. And here’s why.
Breaking Barriers – How You Can Empower Others with AI
Hi, Inbal here! I often have such fascinating conversations that I wish you could all join me to hear them.
Last week, during a one-on-one AI coaching session with a general manager in design and construction, we mapped how AI could enhance her team's work—we looked at her design teams, leadership roles, and even her personal projects.
At one point, she said: “It’s probably not relevant for the tradespeople. They’re hands-on, on the ground, practical. They’re not gonna drop tools and use AI.”
But is that really true?
Why you must start using AI Meeting Assistants (and how I use mine)?
Why you must start using AI Meeting Assistants (and how I use mine)
Welcome to 2025!
Generative AI that I see taking off more than any other, it’s AI meeting assistants. If you’re not using one yet, you probably should.
In this newsletter, I’ll show you how they work, the one I use, and how to choose the right one for you.
No More Copy-Paste Will We Get AI That Knows Our World in 2025?
Are you getting tired of copying, pasting, and uploading documents into your AI tools?
I know I am. It feels so 2024!
Right now, the best AI tools live outside of our working environment. We have to upload documents, copy emails, and provide context so they know what we’re working on. Then we have to copy their responses back into our workspace.
Do You Want to See How I Use Canvas in ChatGPT?
Let me share one of my favourite ChatGPT features: Canvas.
It's brilliant because it does two key things - makes our work more efficient and gets us working with AI in a whole new way.
Why Canvas Makes Sense
Think about how we usually work with ChatGPT - we ask for something, get an answer, ask for changes, then it writes the whole thing again.
It's a bit clunky, right?
Canvas changes all that by letting us work directly with the AI in one space, actually collaborating on a document together.
The Three Blockers for Adopting AI and How to Overcome Them
What is going on?
Why isn't everyone using AI every day for work already?
Why is it that in every business, there are one or two people who use AI a lot, but many others don’t?
Let me share the three blockers I see and how to remove them.
Do We Even Need an AI Policy?
Hi my fellow AI explorers,
The short answer is: yes, right now we do need an AI policy in our businesses.
Why? Because the number one reason people hesitate to upskill in AI is uncertainty. They’re unsure about what’s allowed and what isn’t, and nobody wants to get it wrong.
An AI policy isn’t about creating a cage; it’s about creating a safe playground for learning and experimentation.
So, how do you craft one?
Should We Tell Our Clients When We Use AI?
We all wonder where we are compared to others in adopting AI.
We know that it is changing how we work, but are we falling behind?
I am here to tell you that wherever you are, it is not too late, and you can take action to get into the mainstream, if you are not yet there.
Let me share with you what I see in Australia.
Discover Generative Search - Your Next Step with AI
This is my second ever newsletter, it will get better all the time. I am glad you are on this journey with me!
Remember how Google transformed our world? Well, some of us are old enough to remember 😄
Now it seems like the age of Google search is over, and we are moving to Generative Search, which is even better.
If you haven’t started exploring generative search yet, don’t worry—it's not too late. The sooner you get started, the faster you can build this new skill that will transform how you search for information. And trust me, it’s easier than you think!
Let me share a quick story. During a recent workshop in Toowoomba, I asked the participants what they wanted to search for using AI. One person suggested, “How do you compress a watermelon?” At first, I thought it was a joke, but it turns out it’s a real thing!
Have a look at the video below to see how I used generative search to learn about compressing watermelons and what results I received.
